Quote for the Day

While teaching the Bubbers King how to do somersaults this afternoon, I thought I’d take a stab at pulling off a few myself for the first time in at least 15 years.

The Bubbers King thought it was so funny he busted up laughing and cried out, “Again!  Again!” after each one.

Finally, I had to admit, “I need to take a break.  My wrist is hurting.”

The Bubbers King silently appraised me and then declared with calm resignation:

I’ll do it!  I’m strong.  You’re not.  You’re Mommy.”

  1. Since Bubbers is one of the strongest children I have ever seen, you shouldn’t be concerned if he’s stronger than you are (or thinks he is). A few somersaults is awesome after 2 babies.
