My Mommy’s a real woman now!

Hi Everyone!!  Guess what?!?  Mommy felt like a REAL woman this morning!

After breakfast, she gathered us up and took us outside to work in our REAL vegetable garden!

And as she drank in the cool morning air, surveyed her sweet offspring and soiled her garden gloves…

…  She just had to smile!

There’s something about growing your own little food plants in God’s beautiful earth that makes one feel empowered and alive.

And that’s how Mommy felt!  Like a REAL woman.

All she needs now is a cow to milk and some chickens to gather eggs from!

  1. First let me say that you were a real woman BEFORE you planted a garden, but I understand what you’re saying. It looks like you are getting off to a great start. Isn’t it fun to see how the children enjoy it? I tilled ours up last Saturday and am getting the greenhouse ready for starting seeds. After 18 inches of snow on Easter and having it snow like crazy as I write this I think we will be having to wait awhile to get serious. Keep up the good work!
