Potty Training: Day 3 (by the Bubbers King)
Heidi October 7th, 2009

Hi Everyone! Guess what?!?

Mommy said that I could tell you how well I’m doing with our potty training!!

Did you know that I went almost 24 hours without an accident?? It’s true! I was even dry when I woke up this morning and after my “nap”.
(Uh, yeah, so I decided not to sleep for my nap today, but Mommy said being dry afterward still counted for a Jelly Belly. And that’s all that really matters in life).

And you know what else?!?

I saw my first ever Mickey Mouse cartoons!! And do you know who my favorite character was??

Goofy! (Mommy and Daddy said he was their favorite, too!!)

And I was being so good and successful, that I asked Mommy if I could play outside. She said she wasn’t sure, because then I’d have to put some clothes on.

So I looked at her sweetly with my angelic cherub face.

And she crumbled. On the spot.

So I spent some dressed-like-a-civilized-person time with my new t-ball set.

Boy, did it feel good.

After that, I did have a couple accidents (I guess I’m not ready to be civilized yet), but holy smokes, things are definitely getting better and I earned five new books! (About machines!) (And trains!!!)
And Mommy was so ecstatic with my progress that she enthusiastically folded and put away all the laundry. Then she pulled out all her supplies and books and started home school with me (I did so well!) and language lessons with Snuggles (he did well, too!).

Then our marvelous day ended with this spectacular sunset outside Mommy’s bedroom window.
(Except I didn’t see it because I was already asleep).

*Sigh* Being a big boy is sure fun.

Boots, Brother and Baby! :):)

That’s an amazing sunset! Glad things are coming along with potty trianing!
So glad Bubbers is catching on so well in the potty training, it makes it so much easier for you. Loved the sunsets.
Good job Bubbers, I am very proud of you! You are going potty on the toilet like me and I am a big boy now! It’s ok you make accidents sometimes, I do too but the important thing is you are trying real hard! Let me know when you want to go to the park and play or have a play date at my house or yours! My big sister is in school now so I have extra free time for play dates! Ask your mommy and let me know! I am really happy for you, you are doing a great job! Love, your neighbor bud, Joshua
