An Impromptu Concert

February 27th, 2009

Tonight at bedtime, I asked the sweet Bubbers King to show his Daddy the children’s song he spontaneously sang for me this morning.

And we loved it so much, we wanted to share it with you. :):)

What we love about this video:

  • His dear little voice
  • How he always starts the song kneeling on one knee
  • How he lays his little cheek on the carpet at the end of the song
  • How his arms aren’t quite long enough to extend past his head
  • His sweet silliness after the songs :):)

what i love about this video:
– he clasps hands before raising his arms that aren’t quite long enough.
– how accuate he is in singing the song!
– that i can tell who he learned this song from simply by the start, kneeling on one knee – just like Bro. Fairbanks!

too cute – thanks for sharing!

He’s got a flare for the dramatic! Great song Bubbers.

Loved that!! That is one of Lizzy’s faves too. :) She will sometimes sing along to songs, but I don’t think she can perform one all the way through like that on her own. Bubbers is amazing! And SO CUTE. I’m so glad you shared that with us! (And Lizzy enjoyed watching it too – and is now singing it to herself…) ;)

What a good job! Both Elora and Josh refused to sing songs in nursery…now that Elora is in Primary I think she sings along and does the actions, but Josh still won’t, unless he is doing it with Elora.
