- How I’m feeling:
Good
Bigger every day :)
- Bizarre side effects:
Shortened eyelashes on my left eye
Four little red spots appearing on my face (from “heightened vascular activity”) that give no indication of leaving anytime soon (and they work in pairs–two on the bridge of my nose and two in my right nasolabial fold)
Occasional leg cramps
- Continuing side effects:
Acid reflux (mainly at night or if I’m hungry)
Pelvic pain whenever I use my legs
- Activities that quickly remind me that I’m pregnant:
Trying to get up off the floor
Trying to catch the speed-demon Bubbers King during our daily “Get You!!” chase and tickle games
Trying to squeeze out of the car in a tight parking spot
Trying to sit in a kid’s chair when doing therapy
- What makes my day:
When heaven sent people tell me I don’t look pregnant unless I turn sideways
- Does he have a name, yet?
Nope, not even close
Wow, you have quite a list of effects of pregnancy. I’m so glad you didn’t inherit the “feels like I have had the flu for 9 months effect” from me. I definitely looked pregnant from the front, back and side, so I’m glad you didn’t inherit that either!
Heidi you look so good and happy.
Pretty pregnant lady! And ‘right nasolabial fold’? Uh, you’re smart. I’m happy you are doing well! :)
I find that little chairs are better for me to sit in because I’m so short the angle that the little chairs put my legs at is way better than adult chairs. Don’t worry about having a name, it will come!
You look amazing in that picture. Love your blog – made me smile! Congratulations on your pregnancy! Im 32 weeks pregnant myself with my first little boy, very exciting! As I work with Bounty I’ve been following my stages online, as its my first pregnancy so its all new to me! Here is whats going on at 24 weeks http://www.bounty.com/pregnancy/24-weeks-pregnant.aspx which is where you are! Its so amazing isnt it. Anyway, best of luck to you for the rest of the pregnancy! xxx
Your baby bump is perfect! Hope you can find relief for your ailments.
You look absolutely stunning, Heidi!
I ALWAYS get the red spots on my face. And after each pregnancy there are always a few that stay there too. I get those little skin fold things too, usually around my eyelids, but also in other weird places, like under arms. You look good!
You look fantastic Heidi! Perfectly pregnant:) I so hear you with the heartburn!
I love pregnant belly’s and yours is just as cute! I got brown spots on my face so that wasn’t fun. They went away- unless I’m out in the sun too much. Joys that come with pregnancies.
You are so beautiful. I am sure the boys will be best of friends! I am glad you are enjoying pregnancy so fully! You’re little one is a lucky guy!
You look beautiful, Heidi :)
You look great!!!
Nighttime leg cramps are usually sudden spasms, or tightening, of muscles in the calf. The muscle cramps can sometimes happen in the thigh or the foot. They often occur just as you are falling asleep or waking up.:-.;
