Please Help!

I’m sorry I didn’t post anything yesterday–it’s been a really rough couple of days for me.

You see, after I posted the story about locking Bubbers inside the house, someone reported me to CPS for neglect and placing my child in imminent danger.

So then CPS went to my blog, read the story and was at my house within 24 hours to remove Bubbers from my care.

I told them I did the best I could think of given the situation, but they said that wasn’t good enough and I was a psycho-crazy mom who smashes her face against living room windows all day.

They also told me they’re going to keep Bubbers indefinitely until I can get 30 people who aren’t related to me to sign a petition vouching for my character and ability as a mother.

At first I wasn’t going to tell y’all about this because I figured I needed to take care of it on my own.

But after standing outside Walmart for 16 hours yesterday, I only got 2 people to sign my petition. (Okay, so it was really only one person, but she was 12 weeks pregnant, so she signed for her baby, too).

And at that rate, it’s going to take weeks to get enough signatures for me to get Bubbers back!

So, I’m calling on you–my faithful blog readers–to please help. If you can honestly vouch for my character and ability as a mother, then please click on the link below and sign my petition.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

  2. april fools!!!!!!!! nice job, when i started to read it i was feeling sorry for you and then i realized what today was and realized it was april 1st.

  3. Sorry, I knew you were kidding…. the newspaper is full of stories of unfit moms and they still get to keep their kids, however rarely is there a story of a wonderful mom who will do anything for her child, like hike over a fence. Nice job mom, no one would ever believe that they would take BUBBERS from you. “)
