I hope you don’t hate me…

Heidi April 1st, 2008

Okay, so just for the record:

1) I’m very sorry for any undue pain I caused with my little April Fool’s joke

2) I never usually play April Fool’s jokes

3) And now I know why

Charming is always telling outrageous stories to people to see if they’ll believe them and every time I immediately declare, “It’s not true!! It’s not true!! Don’t believe a word he says!!”

But when he wrote his little joke for today, I somehow got the idea that maybe (for once in my life) it would be fun for me to play a joke, too.

So, I did.

And then Charming decided to email both of our jokes to all our family members.

And then my phone started to ring.

And ring.

And ring.

And I spent the whole day apologizing to various family members in different states of hysteria (my poor Mother cried when she read Charming’s post and thought it was real).

So, please forgive me!

And I hope you don’t hate me….. much.

Oh those paybacks…. As I read it I thought “He really takes things well.” Great joke but you should always warn those you love (especially your in-laws.)

Nah… we don’t hate you.

I tried hard to think of an April Fool’s joke that would be good natured… so I was thinking about showing Jared a positive pregnancy test… just so he’d wonder “how did THAT happen” and freak out a little… but I didn’t.
