Hey Heidi! I think I usually moved up when I started seeing cheeks peeking out of the smaller size.

Leaky diapers may also have something to do with the fit of the brand. I noticed that at different points in my children's lives... different diapers fit them better than others... for example... when my daughter was a baby... the Huggies fit her best, and she always leaked out of Pampers... now... the Pampers seem to fit her better than the Huggies do. So trying a different brand of diaper (there are lots out there) might help with the leakage!

LOL! We were commenting at the same time, Alycia. :):) Oh, I'm so glad you like it! Since this feature of my blog is mainly for me and Charming, I wasn't sure if others would enjoy it very much. And you definitely have my permission to copy it--thanks for wanting to! :)

Tearese: Dr. Ferber's sleep training book ("How to Solve Your Child's Sleep Problems") was the key for us. But Elora's nine hours a night is still great!
-----
Thanks, Andrea! I agree--time goes so fast...
-----
Ailene: Diaper sizes have always confused me... I've never quite known when to go up to the next size. I usually do it when he starts to leak out his diaper a lot--but this last time when we went from a 4 to a 5, it didn't stop the leaking. So, he may actually be in diapers that are too big for him, but they seem to fit okay... How do you know when to switch sizes for your kids??

I love this! I think I might copy you if that's okay. :) That's a great way to remember what they're doing because it's so easy to forget. I can't believe how big Bubbers has gotten even since the last time I saw you guys!

Awww... it's so cute to read all about the things that he does! I like the snapshot thing... I ought to write up some of those about our children!

I do have to comment about what he's wearing though... my daughter is mostly in size 2T clothes... although in tops, she is working up to 3T. She wears a size 4 diaper... so she wears bigger clothes than him, but a smaller diaper...

My son... who is wearing mostly 4T and 5 (although he has a shirt that he wears that's a size 6). He wears a size 5 diaper. So he wears WAY bigger clothes... and the same size diaper.

I wonder if diaper sizes vary by brand, and we just use different brands? I just think it's funny how Bubbers wears the same size diaper as my son, and a bigger one than my daughter... hehehe.

Wow, he sleeps a long time. I know they tell you thats how long a baby is supposed to sleep, but neither of mine have ever done that. Elora sleeps for nine hours a night (mostly) and I thought that was wonderful!
He's growing so fast!
