Thanks, Alycia. :) I thought about telling a story, but decided to try it this way to see what kind of response it got. But it makes me feel good to know you're interested in the story--thank you!
-----
Michelle: It's an hour or so north of here. I agree--this picture makes me feel a mixture of impending danger, but also suspenseful romance. (But then again, almost every picture reminds me of something romantic...). :) Thank you so much for your thoughts!

Such a strong image - where is this?

For some reason, it evokes a dark, brooding feeling for me... yet it also seems hopeful. Is that weird? Either way, I love how the outdoors are wild, beautiful and awe-inspiring - it always makes for great pictures.

Thank you, Apple. :):)

Hello and welcome, Nana! Thank you--I'm so glad you loved my picture. Your pond sounds so wonderful--I'm sure I would have loved to take pictures of it, too! I'm glad you have those and your memories to remind you of how much it meant to you. And I agree--nature always heightens my senses and makes me more sensitive and contemplative. It also makes me think about how amazing our Creator is.

I love your picture. One of the things I loved to do was take pictures of the pond. It is amazing how when you are enjoying your surroundings you seem to listen and think and get inspiration. This was one of the things the pond did for me.
