Introductions: Part 2

This is me: Heidi (in my younger, blonder prime)

To know me is to know how much I love the land of my youth. This is the spectacular view I lived and breathed every day while growing up in the Carson Valley in Nevada. (And who says Nevada isn’t pretty?)

Those years were made special because of my family. Here’s my all-time favorite picture of my wonderfully large family. (I’m the second to the youngest–with the long brown hair).

Things got even bigger and better when we started adding in-laws! We’re missing a sister-in-law here, but it’s the most complete one we have of the adults… (We’re also sans adorable children–of which there are 21 to date, and still counting!)

Here are a few Heidi tidbits:

  • adores children like nothing else
  • sentimental
  • easily emotional (times a million ever since I got pregnant with my son)
  • (annoyingly?) loud guffaw laugh
  • cheerful
  • loves anything romantic
  • very organized
  • driven
  • enjoys music
  • optimistic
  • aspires to be published someday

To be continued…

About Heidi

Hello! My name is Heidi. I went to college and got a couple degrees. Then I worked as a Speech-language Pathologist for two years until Bubbers came along. While I loved my job and working with kids, I love my job as a mom best. I started a blog because I love to write. I’ve written stories my whole life. Deep down inside my heart, I secretly dream to be published in paper someday. Until then, I’m publishing for y’all and hope you enjoy it! Here are a few of my latest posts...

  1. Heidi, you are so pretty! You look so different with long hair, but both looks are beautiful. Its neat to see how you used to look.

  2. Tearese–Aw, thank you! It’s funny, I thought I would always have long hair and look the same at 40 as I did when I got married. That sure hasn’t happened, though. :) I’ve thought of growing it long again… Until I started losing my pregnancy hair. Holy cow!! I feel like I’m being attacked by handfuls and handfuls of hair every day!
